Following the same strategy, after many leaks, The company recently launched Nokia 2 that targets the customers looking specifically for a budget phone that includes all basic functions with a magnificent battery life.
After pre-orders in Russia, now the phone is available in the US at a prize of $99 via Amazon. It will support AT&T and T-Mobile mobile networks. Sprint or Verizon networks are not yet confirmed for its support and we may later get the news for so.
Its India price tag is not yet announced but we can expect it to be somehow around 7500 INR as it is already announced that Nokia 2 will be globally available by mid-November and revealed with average price is EUR 99.
The phone has a mammoth 4100mAh battery with a premium looking design that has no compromise in making it utmost beautiful with polycarbonate body including a 6000 Series Aluminium frame. The phone will ship with Android 7.1.1 Nougat and it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 SoC (quad-core, clocked up to 1.2GHz) coupled with 1GB of LPDDR3 RAM. There is an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front fixed focus camera.
Nokia 2 comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage with expandability to 128GB. Its connectivity comes from 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio with RDS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Sized at 143.5×71.3×9.3mm, with is IP52-rated (for drip protection). This unique phone comes in three colors, Pewter Black with black face and frame, Pewter White with a white face, black frame, and Copper, with a black face, black back, and copper frame. Considering Nokia 9 is also around the corner to compete with high-end phones like iPhone X, Nokia seems to be tackling all segments of the market.
